My event schedule for August 2025 is quite full and growing day by day! Since my new book was released on July 8th (officially), I delivered three different speaking events in July, and attended several outdoor and indoor festivals.
August is going to be even more exciting. I begin with the Arts & Crafts Fair at the Ledges in Grand Ledge on Saturday, the 2nd. Look for me in booth #38 at the far end near the food trucks on the right side of the main road. This is a very big festival with over 200 booths, so be sure to enjoy the fun!
The following week on Wednesday the 6th, I will be speaking at the Portage District Library at 6PM. The next day I am traveling to Ludington, Michigan where I will be signing books in front of the Windowsill Bookstore at 107 S James Street from 2-3 PM, then I will be visiting the Hoot and Honey Bookstore at 358 River St in Manistee at 4:30 – 5PM. That evening at 6PM I will be speaking at the Ramsdell Regional Center for the Arts as organized by the Manistee County Library! That is going to be a very full day!
On Saturday, August 9th I will be at the Cozy Corner Bookstore at 11AM, and the following Saturday on the 16th I will be taking part in the Sweet Corn Days Festival in downtown Litchfield from 9AM – 6PM, where I will have a booth at this event selling and signing copies of my books.
On Thursday, August 21st at 6PM I will be speaking at the Howard Branch of the Cass District Library at 2341 Yankee St, Niles, Michigan telling stories from my new book. That weekend on Saturday August 23rd and Sunday August 24th I will have a booth at the Jackson Civil War Muster at Cascade Falls County Park! This is a very fun history event with Civil War reenactors, encampments and demonstrations! A great event for the whole family, and you might even meet Abraham Lincoln!
I wrap up the month on Saturday August 30th and Sunday August 31st at the Festival of Oddities at the Courthouse Square Museum in Charlotte, Michigan. I will be in the author section of this festival, sharing a table with my good friend and author Amberrose Hammond. Come look for us, and enjoy this kooky and fun festival, and get some great books! It is going to be an exciting August!
