My new book ‘Victorian Southwest Michigan True Crime’ is officially being released on March 11, 2024. I have been working on scheduling several speaking events around the southwestern region of Michigan to present stories from the book, and also sell and sign copies.
The first event I will be at in March, following the release is at Willard Library on Thursday, the 14th. I will be speaking at 6PM at the library location at 7 W. Van Buren Street in Battle Creek. I plan to tell the story of the ‘Butcher of Dibble Hill’ at that event.
The next event I will be at is the Kalamazoo Living History Show, which is a two day indoor show at the Kalamazoo Expo Center from 9-5 on Saturday, March 16th, and 9-4 on Sunday, March 17th. I will have a booth with a table selling and signing copies of my new book. Come out to this fun show and walk around, you will not be disappointed! The Expo Center is located at 2900 Lake St, Kalamazoo.
Next on Tuesday, March 19th, at 6PM I will be speaking at the Colon Township Library telling a story that is unique to St. Joseph County from the book. Then on the next weekend I will be at the Willard Library Helen Warner Branch Saturday morning at 10AM telling the story of Sarah Haviland. That branch is located at 36 Minges Creek Place, Battle Creek.
Later that same day I will be in Marshall at New Story Community Books, located at 114 W. Michigan Ave, Marshall. I will be there starting at 2PM and presenting another story from the book ‘The Murder of John Wiley’. The next day on Sunday, March 24th at 2PM I will be at Stirling Books and Brew in Albion. Their store is located at 119 N. Superior Street, Albion.
I hope you will be able to attend some of these events in March to get a signed copy of my book! I look forward to seeing there!
