A quick update for the new year. I have just begun traveling around again at regional shows, after taking a break since December to finish my next book. In the month of February, I participated in a weekend show at the Ingham County Fairgrounds in Mason, and two different weekend events at the Kalamazoo County Expo Center selling copies of my books.
My latest book Murder in Victorian Western Michigan was released in July 2025, and on Sunday, February 22, 2026 I sold my 1000th copy! The past two years have been a whirlwind of touring around the State of Michigan at festivals, craft fairs and speaking events.
It was early October that I sold #500 of this book, and being that I was not at any shows or speaking programs the entire month of January, it really is an indicator of how much people love to read about true crime as a genre.
November and December were both very busy months for me, as I traveled around at a lot of holiday shows. Since mid-December, up until a few weeks ago, I have been intensively working on finishing up my third book. I am still working through some final details with my publisher, and there will be some final editing rounds to go through, however, I hope to be announcing more detailed information soon. Currently the projected release date will be sometime in August.
