Number 500, Wine & True Crime talks

As an author, I have been on tour all summer since the release of my new book ‘Murder in Victorian Western Michigan’ in July. I have had the pleasure to attend some very exciting outdoor festivals and events, including the Grand Ledge Art Fair, Jackson Civil War Muster, A Festival of Oddities, Sweet Corn Days, The Vicksburg Harvest Festival and Charlotte Frontier Days, among many others.

I have also been speaking at local libraries and bookstores in the southwest Michigan region. This year I traveled as far north as the Manistee library, as far east as the Davison library and also ventured down to the Niles Library among the list of over 20 different libraries and museums I have spoken at. Recently on Monday, October 7th, I marked a milestone when speaking at the Marshall District Library where I personally sold and signed my 500th copy of my ‘Murder in Victorian Western Michigan’.

The month of October, I have several new and exciting speaking events coming up at regional wineries. I will be pairing true crime stories with local wines at Graham Vineyards in Laingsburg on October 8th, Lawton Ridge Winery in Kalamazoo on October 16th and Sit and Stay Winery in Kalamazoo on October 29th. Also, on October 15th I will be pairing stories at Gull Lake Distilling Co. in Galesburg on a special night of Victorian True Crime & Spirits Night. All in all, it has been a very exciting tour so far this year in 2025! I still have a few more library presentations on the calendar this year, and several other vending events. I hope I will see you at one of these upcoming events.
