I will be speaking at the Battle Creek Regional History Museum on Saturday, June 4th from 1-3PM in a special event on Circus history of the 1800’s in the region. The museum is located at 307 W Jackson Street, in Battle Creek, Michigan.
The talk will be a collection of stories I have come across in my research on traveling circuses, their exhibits and some personal accounts recorded in time about these events. Some are funny, and will definitely make you laugh. Others may make you want to jump into a time machine and travel back to the good ol’ days of the big top!
