Jackson Civil War Muster

The Jackson Civil War Muster is one of the largest re-enactment gatherings in the Midwest. It is a two day event with Civil War encampments, vendors, history demonstrations, food and battle reenactments.

Saturday, August 22nd 10AM – 5PM

Sunday, August 23rd 10AM – 5PM

Note: the hours above are generally the hours of the merchant vendors, but the reenactment has secheduled activities throughout the evening on Saturday. Check the website information below for details of all of the events and activites on the weekend schedule below.

Author, Michael Delaware will again have a booth at this event. He will have his books on Victorian Michigan True Crime available at this event. The new book ‘Crime and Corruption on the Michigan Railroad: Stories from the Victorian Era’ available for the first time ever. The new book contains three different stories that took place in Jackson County.

The event is held at Cascade Falls Park, and it is an incredible outdoor history event. Mark your calendars!
