As an author I will be traveling around Southwest Michigan during the month of June at several outdoor events. My first stop will be in Dorr, Michigan at Dorr North Park for the Ivy & Wildflower Market on Saturday, June 6th from 10AM – 4PM. This is a fun ourdoor summer arts & crafts show which draws people from all over the Grand Rapids area.
The following weekend I will be in Springport, Michigan for the Summer Festival. Springport is located in Jackson County about ten minutes north of I-94 on State Road 99. The festival will be held in the downtown area on Saturday, June 13th from 9AM – 3:30PM and it is free to attend. This event is expected to draw people from all over the region, and is a fun for the whole family.

On Saturday, June 20th I will be in Coldwater, Michigan for the Strawberry Festival. This is another downtown festival, which runs 9AM – 3PM. This is an annual event hosted by the city of Coldwater, and is set against the backdrop of their historic downtown district. The following day on Sunday, June 21st, I will be in Hastings, Michigan at Historic Charlton Park for the 44th Annual Father’s Day Car Show hosted by the Misfits Car Club. This is a huge event which draws almost 1000 classic cars and trucks from all over Michigan. This event runs 8AM – 3PM, and has an admission fee to enter.
On Saturday, June 27th I will be at the Del Shannon Car Show taking part in the Arts & Crafts Show at this event. This is being held at Begg Park in Sprinfield, Michigan and it runs from 10AM – 4PM. This completes my calendar of scheduled events for June. I will be selling and signing copies of my two books ‘Victorian Southwest Michigan True Crime’ and ‘ Murder in Victorian Western Michigan’ at all of these events. Come on out to enjoy some summer fun and get a signed copy!
