The NCTA Hike 100 Challenge

The North Country Trail Association has an annual challenge for anyone who wants to accept it. It is to hike 100 miles on the NCT during a single year. If you do, you can earn a new patch with a new design each year.

You can revisit the same mile 100 times, or explore 100 unique miles. It is up to you to log your own mileage over the weeks and months of the year. You can do it in all one big adventure, or over several smaller hikes throughout the year, it is up to you.

Walk, snowshoe, run, ski, day hike or backpack, and once you have logged your miles, share the adventure with the NCTA and you earn the commemorative patch!

So this year, to follow along with my YouTube channel project, I have decided to take the challenge. However, I won’t be doing it alone. I am doing it with my St Berdoodle named Moka. So if you want to follow along with us on our adventure on the NCT throughout the year, then subscribe to my channel at: https://www.youtube.com/c/MichaelDelaware

If you would like to accompany me and Moka on any part of this hike, please feel free to contact me. We tabulated our hiking miles in January so far, and we have logged 6 miles on the NCT. So we are looking forward to the rest of the journey!
